Fiocruz Brasília
A Fiocruz Brasília é um órgão da Presidência da Fiocruz. Por estar localizada na capital da República, a Fiocruz Brasília busca promover a articulação e a integração entre as unidades regionais da Fiocruz distribuídas pelo país, também entre toda a instituição e órgãos ligados aos três Poderes da União (Executivo, Legislativo e Judiciário) e representações de entidades nacionais e internacionais ligadas à saúde.
A instituição vem implementando ações e medidas que possam subsidiar todo o conjunto Fiocruz (e seus parceiros) de informações estratégicas para a tomada de decisão. Isso se dá por um processo de mapeamento, análise, tratamento e difusão de informações, estruturado sobre uma atuação em rede que considera as diferentes necessidades e realidades dos atores com os quais interage.
A formação é conduzida pela Escola de Governo Fiocruz Brasília (EGF), juntamente com a Universidade Aberta do SUS (UNA-SUS), e busca atender a demanda por capacitação e aperfeiçoamento dos trabalhadores ligados à saúde, majoritariamente no âmbito federal. Diversos cursos de pós-graduação, nas modalidades Atualização, Aperfeiçoamento, Especialização e Mestrado são promovidos em articulação com outras unidades da Fiocruz e parceiros externos.
Por meio das Assessorias e Áreas Técnicas e da Coordenação de Programas e Projetos (CPP), a instituição se dedica a trabalhos nos seguintes campos: Direito Sanitário; Alimentação, Nutrição e Cultura; Educação, Cultura e Saúde; Epidemiologia e Vigilância em Saúde; Promoção da Saúde, Ambiente e Trabalho; Bioética e Diplomacia em Saúde; e Saúde Mental, Álcool e Outras Drogas; Evidências para Políticas e Tecnologias de Saúde; e Populações em Situações de Vulnerabilidade e Saúde Mental na Atenção Básica.
INSTITUTIONAL PROFILE
Fiocruz Brasília is a decentralized unit and a body of the Presidency of Fiocruz. Located in the capital city of Brazil, Fiocruz Brasilia promotes the articulation and integration among other units of Fiocruz in the country, organs linked to the three branches of government (Executive, Legislative and Judiciary) and representations of national and international health-related entities.
The institution has been implementing actions and measures that can provide Fiocruz and its partners with strategic information for decision making. This is done through a process of mapping, analysis, treatment, and dissemination of information, structured on a network that considers the different needs and realities of the actors with whom it interacts.
Education is conducted by the Fiocruz Brasilia School of Government (EGF), together with the Open University of Brazil’s Unified Health System (UNA-SUS). They seek to meet the demand for training and improvement of health workers, mostly at the federal level. Several post-graduate courses, in the modalities update, improvement, specialization and masters are promoted in articulation with other Fiocruz units and partners.
Through the Advisory and Technical Areas and the Coordination of Programs and Projects (CPP), the institution is dedicated to work in the following fields: Health Law; Food, Nutrition and Culture; Education, Culture and Health; Epidemiology and Health Surveillance; Promotion of Health, Environment and Work; Bioethics and Health Diplomacy; and Mental Health, Alcohol and Other Drugs; Evidence for Health Policies and Technologies; and Populations in Vulnerable Situations and Mental Health in Primary Care.
